Privacy Policy

Who this policy is from
Altus Financial (“Altus Financial,” “we,” or “the platform”) operates this website for its business consulting and coaching practice, delivered by Benjamin Minifie and Stanislav Lisovskiy. This policy explains how we handle the information you give us through this site.
What we collect
- Intake-form input: your name, company, email, phone number, the consultant you asked to reach, the type of request you submitted and the details you provide for it (such as ownership count, revenue range, or entity type), your preferred contact method, and any notes.
- Website analytics: we use Umami to understand which content is read — the page requested, the referring site, and coarse browser, operating system, device and country information.
- No cookies or cross-site tracking: Umami sets no cookies, does not collect information that identifies you, and does not follow you across other websites; we do not run an ad-tracking pixel on this site.
- Email delivery metadata: if you submit the form, our email vendor records delivery metadata (delivery, open, bounce) on the messages it sends on our behalf.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To route your request to the consultant you chose and to schedule a follow-up conversation.
- To provide the service you and the consultant agree to — for example, scoping an engagement or preparing a value assessment.
- To maintain basic business records of the engagement.
- To operate and improve the website (e.g., understanding which pages are being read).
Who sees it
- Both consultants receive your submission directly. Engagements are usually worked by both, so neither the form nor this notice promises a single named recipient.
- Our email vendor (Resend) transmits messages between you, the consultant, and our systems.
- Our database is hosted on Supabase. Operators with administrative access may see submission data.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties without your authorization, except as required by law or to carry out the service you request.
How long we keep it
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as the client relationship is active and for a period of at least seven years thereafter, or longer where a law or professional obligation requires it. Inactive inquiries that do not become client relationships are typically purged on a rolling basis.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Requests subject to applicable recordkeeping retention may be honored in part. Write to the address in the Contact section below with the nature of your request. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and similar state privacy rights are honored to the extent they apply.
Security
We use administrative and technical controls — including database row-level security, encrypted transport (TLS), and least-privilege access — to protect the information you send us. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
